Fashion is not only for casual wear. It plays a big part in corporate wear as well. Most of the professional men wear a tie while in the office. It is not easy to select a tie as it looks like. It can make the look really odd if the correct one is not selected. Most of the men try to match it just with the shirt color. It is not enough to match it with the shirt as you will find out later.
When wearing a tie, the length of the tie is very important. General fashion is that the tip of the tie should touch the buckle of the belt. Even then this is not a strict rule since the height of the person can have a little affect on this. But one thing is for sure that it should not go beyond the buckle of the belt.
Width of the tie depends on the size of the person. On average the width of the tie at the widest point of it should be around 3.5 to 4 inches. For a slimmer person a slightly thinner tie can be selected. Selection should be based on the comparative analysis.
Color clash of the shirt and the tie is the biggest mistake committed by most of the men. A tie should complement the color of the shirt. For a dull color shirt a bright color tie should be selected. It will compensate the dull color of the shirt. For a plain color shirt on the other hand, a patterned tie will be a good option. Plain tie can be used with a stripped shirt to make it more professional.
Tie is one of the important aspects of fashion. It is as important as selecting a shirt. If the correct one is selected, it can make a man really attractive.
